The Faculty of Management holds every year in October-November the International Management Conference. The conference is organized in partnership with Romanian Academic Society of Management (SAMRO). In 2022 the Academy of Romanian Scientist (AOSR) joined our conference as a valuable partner.
Over the years, the International Management Conference (IMC) has established itself as a leading platform for addressing critical issues in management and economics. By encouraging collaboration between researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders, the conference explores innovative solutions to global challenges in an evolving business landscape.
The IMC gives participants the opportunity to exchange ideas on the latest business issues and challenges in the field of management at national and international level. At this scientific networking event researchers and practitioners in universities and industries can debate and join their efforts in finding solutions and answers to the most urgent questions that management is confronted with in the reality of the 21st century, at the crossroads of crises from all the fields of the economy.
IMC is dedicated to enhancing the global impact of its research by providing open access to proceedings through secure digital platforms. All accepted papers are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to ensure discoverability and long-term accessibility.
The previous editions of the conference had different topics, such as: modern approaches in organizational management and economy, new management for the new economy, management challenges for sustainable development, management and innovation for competitive advantage, challenges of modern management, the role of management in the economic paradigm of the XXI st century, management perspectives in the digital era, managing sustainable organizations, managing people and organizations in a global crisis, management in the algorithmic era: harmonizing AI mastery and human collaboration .
Participants are welcome to submit papers on Business Administration, Investment and Project Management, Organizational Performance, Education, Innovation, and Knowledge Management, Strategic Management, Change Management and Entrepreneurship, HR Management, Behavioral Sciences, Communication Studies and Business Ethics.
The conference proceedings were published as books, as special numbers of journals and on CD with ISSN. Beginning with 2012 the conference proceedings (CD with ISSN) are listed in RePEc. Between 2012 and 2019, the conference proceedings were indexed in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Social Science and Humanities (CPCI-SSH), part of the Web of Science Core Collection. IMC continues to align its editorial practices and content with Web of Science selection criteria by enhancing relevance, originality, and methodological rigor. The conference proceedings will be submitted for indexation in Web of Science.
IMC follows the ethical publishing principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ensuring transparency, fairness, and integrity at every stage of the publication process.
